Originally from Cairo, Dr. Iskander attended Cairo University’s Kasr El Eini Medical School to receive her medical degree. She completed his internship with the same institution, and then she completed her general surgery residency at the Workshop General Hospital and her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Saint James Hospital in Leeds.
Dr. Iskander provides care for her patients that include pap smears, annual gynecological exams, osteoporosis evaluations, menopause consultations, colposcopy, LEEP procedures, annual physicals, endometrial biopsy, gynecological wart freezing, IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, ovarian cancer screening, and infertility consultations.

I had a 1:30 appointment, the Dr called me and ask me to come at 12, that was the latest she was available. I went at 11:45, I waited in the lobby area until 1:15, then I was taken back to a room, where I finally saw the Dr at 1:30, my regular scheduled time. Then I had tests done at the hospital, made a follow up appointment, the Dr called me on Sunday to cancel my 8:00 appointment on Monday. I received the lab reports at home before I can even see the Dr. She was very nice and spent quality time with me.

They had a little calendar glitch, and called me the morning of my appointment to ask me to switch times. Although that put a hiccup in my schedule that day, I decided to go early just in case they were able to squeeze me in, and they did! I was done 15 mins before my rescheduled appointment was supposed to start.
Dr. Iskander is very committed to spending time with each patient and discussing their needs. In addition to the time I was in the exam room, she spent more than 20 mins with me one-on-one. While this takes some additional time, it's a breath of fresh air in an era when you're lucky to get more than 5-10 mins with your doc usually!

This was my first visit with Dr. Iskander, I was very hesitant as I just moved to the area and had been with my last Dr for more than 15 years. She is a very lovely woman, with exceptional bedside manners, honest and kind. Front office was very nice, and kept me informed on the wait time, we had a very nice conversation. I highly recommend Dr Iskander.

I think she is dated and needs to learn to listen to her patients.She spoke to me like I was uneducated and clueless. Her knowledge and office are both behind the times plus my appointment took almost two hours.I would never see her again or encourage anyone else to do so.

the clinic was pretty small and clean , there is one nurse who works on the front desk too , they take your urine samples in a paper cup , which i found weird , BUT the doctor was pretty experienced and know what she is talking about, the physical exam didnt hurt at all ,disregarding the total environment of the clinic , the doctor is a good doctor but she needs better equipments , and probably one more employee,
