Lawrence S. Frank, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with many years of experience performing cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and all laser LASIK in Rockville / Gaithersburg. He has performed eye surgeries for over 20 years in the Washington, D.C. area. Following his graduation from the George Washington University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Frank joined the military as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. He is a former Captain and Chief of Aeromedical Services. Dr. Frank received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his medical doctorate from the George Washington University of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he interned in internal medicine and performed his ophthalmology residency. He served as the Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at the University from 1989-1999.
