Dr. Hitzeman seems to know his stuff and was thorough in taking my medical history. I liked the convenience and efficiency of NYU's check in process and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There was a long wait at Quest Diagnostics though so would build in time for that.

Dr. Hitzeman is the best doctor I've seen in New York. I've switched between several doctors due to changes in health insurance. Each one was worse than the last, many of which tried to upsell me on expensive tests and procedures I didn't need which cost money out of pocket. Dr. Hitzeman is a straight shooter and a rare gem among New York doctors. He's knowledgable, personable, and delivers a high standard of care. I hate to recommend him because I don't want all his appointment slots to be full all the time, but he is a great doctor.

Dr. Hitzman is a wonderful doctor. He is kind, informative, thorough, patient, and caring. I was impressed with the care that I received and I am happy to have finally found a primary doctor. The receptionists and the nurse we're wonderful too. I highly recommend Dr. Hitzman to everyone.

I can not believe I wasted a yearly physical on this doctor. I felt rushed during the exam. Did not seem to care about me as a patient. When results came back did not even offer explanation or detail of why some results were higher than normal. I called 5 times to even speak with him. If he has to many people then say so, stop accepting people.
I give one chance to a doctor. I am putting my life in your hands and you as a doctor can't be bothered then, Wow!
Staff seems rude playing mind games as if you are a child, I told them the truth the first time. The receptionist or doctors assistant kept grilling me as if I were some child. Nasty to my local Duane Reade Pharmacy, Wow.
The office is very run down and unclean. I should have known better when looking around. I have standards in appearance of an office (first impression is my last); well go to this doctor at your own risk. You might have be luck or maybe not.

Friendly, helpful staff and great bedside manner from Dr. Hitzeman. The only drawback was when I went to the referred lab on a lower floor to get blood work done -- sat there for half an hour and still had several people in front of me. Other patients in the waiting room said this is standard at this lab. Had to cancel the blood work.

All around excellent experience. Since I was a new patient I arrived 30 mins early to get any paperwork done. I was then called to go in to start getting my vitals done before my original appointment time, so that was a huge plus in my book. Dr Hitzeman and staff wete thorough, professional and very polite. I highly recommend him.

Only issue I have with this practice is that they send you somewhere else for blood work. They took my insurance for the visit, but not for the blood work. Very odd.

I enjoyed the visit. The entire process was very efficient and painless, even the paperwork was a breeze. Dr Hitzeman took great notes and got right down to a solution. My concern was a potential spinal injury and I really liked his strategy for treatment. Dr Hitzeman even took the time to locate a pharmacy that was most convenient for me. I had some bloodwork done, actually, a lot, and even that was a pleasant experience.

I have never been in a doctor's office where they are ready to see you before you even finish the paperwork. That set the tone for a really great experience as from the front office staff to Dr. Hitzeman himself. He listened well and gave helpful suggestions and made the annual checkup process as pleasant as it can possibly be.

The office was great with very friendly staff. My paperwork did somehow go missing they eventually found it. The wait was very acceptable and I didn't feel rushed at all when I saw Dr. Hitzeman as often happens when you see a lot of healthcare practitioners.
