I had "irregular" EKG results from my annual physical earlier this week with my primary doctor. She suggested I see a Cardiologist for further evaluation.
The booking process on ZocDoc was smooth and solid. Both the Administative Assistant and the Medical Assistant were super courteous, professional as well as very efficient before, during and after my appointment was completed.
My appointment with Dr.Loewinger was great. I did not have to wait 3 forevers after the Medical Assistant completed taking my vitals/EKG before he came in the room.
Dr.Loewinger was very polite. He listened to my concerns and gave me facts and in depth explanations about my results and what steps were needed to be taken after today in an efficient but personable manner.
Dr.Loewinger suggested I come in for a follow up stress test. Due to this Initial visit going awesomely smooth I will definitely come back to this office for the suggested test and have already booked it.
I would absolutely suggest this Doctor to others due to my treatment from both the Doctor as well as his wonderful staff.

Dr. Loewinger is a board-certified cardiologist accepting patients 7 days a week. Dr. Loewinger's staff can accommodate English, Spanish and Mandarin. The office is handicap accessible with parking.
Dr. Loewinger attended the prestigious Penn State-Jefferson Accelerated BS/MD Program, the oldest such program in the nation. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island. While there, Dr. Loewinger won multiple awards for his efforts in medical research. He developed a special interest in cardiology, and worked closely with the cardiology department, both clinically and academically. In 2005, Dr. Loewinger started doing research with cardiac CT, at the time a very new technology. At the end of residency, Dr. Loewinger was accepted into the Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey for the 2007 academic year.
After graduation from residency, Dr. Loewinger was contacted by UCLA and offered a research fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging. There, he worked with Dr. Matthew Budoff, an acknowledged pioneer and global leader in the field. Dr. Loewinger spent six months learning advanced imaging techniques. While at UCLA, Dr. Loewinger was also an integral part of Dr. Budoff's teaching program, educating hundreds of physicians from all over the world in the theory and clinical practice of the budding technology. Dr. Loewinger worked on multiple research studies, including the groundbreaking Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclelrosis (MESA). Dr. Loewinger attended the Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from 2007-2010. He was trained in all aspects of cardiology, with a special emphasis on preventive care and advanced imaging.

Overall, a good doctor. He wanted to experiment with statins and combined with the thryroid med I take, I had terrible reactions so i couldn't do it in the long run. But he was diligent and thorough, and I would return.

After traveling hours to finally reach this cardiologist. I arrive and the front desk girl does everything she's wonderful. I thought this is a great start. Thereafter, the doc walks in with an attitude, rushing me through the visit. It seemed to my husband, and myself he was profiling us. He didn't seem to care or show concern to actual serious problems I'm facing on an everyday basis. He sort of just brushed it off his shoulders. After rushing through all my concerns. The doc then proceeds to ask me in a condescending way if there's anything else he can help me with. At that point I wanted to just burst into tears. I couldn't understand for the life of me why this doctor was treating me with such disrespect. Reluctant to ask another question I went ahead and asked since I traveled so far to see this doctor if he would impose on drinking a product I had earlier bought from whole foods market for circulatory health. He says "I wouldn't, since you aren't feeling well, but afterwards we certainly don't care what you do, even now if you want to go ahead, I don't care. But I wouldn't recommend it". What a terrible thing to say. After we came up with a solution to my problem he says you can follow up with someone else closer to your area and proceeds to check me out himself saying no need to come back. Is this not terrible. I couldn't Believe it.

The front desk girl was very nice, the Doctor was alright nothing that would make me want to go back to him again. What bothered me the most is that they told me they schedule some procidures to be done at the hospital they said somebody will contact me the same week, nobody ever called and nobody even followed up to see if i have done the procedures, felt like i was brushed off nicely. Will not recommend this Doctor nor will i return to see him again.

The staff was very polite and friendly. Dr. Loewinger seemed very knowledgeable and caring and took his time to explain any concerns I had. He was very easy to talk to and asked me many questions. He put my mind at ease and is following up with more tests to make sure I am okay. The office was clean as well as the bathrooms and the building itself has a very convenient parking garage on the ground floor with valet parking that you just roll right into, leave your key with the valet guy and get into the elevator a few feet away that leads right to the Doctor's office. Another plus is that the garage has very cheap rates. Also, There was no wait time. I signed papers and was seen right away. I highly recommend this doctor and facility! Awesome doctor and staff. A++

From the very first second I arrived to the second I left I felt warmly welcomed and cared. Dr Loewinger was very attentive, professional and competent; he carefully listened to everything I was describing paying attention to small details. Most of the tests needed was taken during my very first visit. Nurse Anissa was extremely friendly, helpful, and delicate. Thanks to Dr Loewinger I got competent responses to all my questions, and was totally satisfied by the end.

I was having some strange symptoms and he helped to find a diagnosis quickly and recommend next steps. He was very knowledgable and great at communicating at a level that I would understand.
He called personally to make sure I was understanding everything and to check up on how I was feeling.
