We went and saw the other doctor in this office to remove 2 hangnails. 1 had previously been "removed" 3 times by a different doctor at a different practice. Came here because of the great reviews and I was not disspointed. Everyone working there was extremely friendly and professional. They nailed the perfect balance. The doctor was very thorough and actually seemed to care, which is rare to find. Thanks guys!

Dr. Wittenber is board certified in foot surgery and in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by 2 separate surgical boards; The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery. Dr. Wittenberg has strange bedside manner and seems to be quite sarcastic or just enjoys dark humor. I purchased pricey orthotics that didn't last very long and weren't very comfortable. He gave me a helpful sheet about plantar fasciitis, but I couldn't bring myself to return to this office because I had felt so awkward after a brief discussion of current events where the doctor made a crude comment that has stuck with me. Now I am looking for a new podiatrist and his name/practice shows up on Yelp. I scroll through and I can't believe how petty and childish and immature he comes off in responding to negative reviews. I'm actually appalled at the cattiness of many of his remarks. No one goes through life being perfect or being liked by every single person they come into contact with. As a professor, I had students who valued me and others who felt the exact opposite; this is life. But unprofessional, spiteful, and defensive aren't the qualities I look for in a doctor.
