Dr. Leslee Uhrich is a Psychologist in Maine who has been practicing since 2014. She received her Master's and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles.
Dr. Uhrich spent the last five years of her career specializing in treating co-occurring medical and mental health conditions, with the majority of her work being with those that have eating disorders. Dr. Uhrich has experience working in all levels of eating disorder care as well as with all age groups. She is certified in FBT (Family Based Treatment) which is a specialized treatment for eating disorders and has spent the last four years using this modality to treat teens struggling with a variety of eating disorders. Dr. Uhrich also has very specialized training to treat children with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (CBT-AR). Prior to this work, Dr. Uhrich rotated her time in different specialty areas including DBT, psychological testing, substance abuse, group therapy, and in a child/adolescent partial hospitalization program. Dr. Uhrich is a provider that you can count on to be nonjudgmental, honest, and direct in her approach. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities including but not limited to Family Based Treatment (FBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral modification, Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), and Seeking Safety.
In her free time, Dr. Uhrich enjoys a variety of outdoor activities. She has always been an athlete and enjoys games and competition of all types.
