Lev Grinman, M.D. specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Sleep and Neurological disorders. Conditions that he manages include sleep apnea, snoring, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, stroke, dementia, and several others.
Dr. Grinman did his undergraduate training at Cornell University. He then completed his medical training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He then excelled at a rigorous neurology residency program at the Albert Einstein College of medicine NSLIJ campus. He then went on to pursue his passion in sleep disorders by completing a year-long Sleep Medicine fellowship in New York City under the guidance of faculty from Columbia University.
Dr. Grinman participated in a competitive research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and went on to publish his research findings. He also performed clinical and basic science research at Cornell University and Rockefeller University, home to the most Nobel Laureates in the World.
Dr. Grinman is very passionate about both neurology and sleep medicine and loves taking care of his patients. He is the acting Medical Director of the iSleep program, a leader in sleep disorders diagnostics and treatment in the New York Metropolitan area with offices in 3 boroughs. Dr. Grinman is Board Certified in Neurology.
