Dr. Leyla Malakian completed her education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine.
Dr. Malakian was interested in the latest innovative techniques to rehabilitate the injured spine and extremities of her patients. In furthering her knowledge and scope of practice, she became certified in Physio Therapy, Sports Taping, Full Spine, Gonstead, Thompson, and Graston techniques. Her theory of wellness is based on Nutrition in addition to her overall scope of therapy.
Aspiring to further her skills, Dr. Malakian works closely with orthopedic surgeons as well as pain management doctors and acupuncturists. She applies scientific-based medical principles towards the analysis, preservation, and enhancement of human movement, targeting improvement of health and well-being. She also helps patients to rehabilitate musculoskeletal complaints that keep them in pain and prevent them from achieving their fitness goals.
Currently Dr. Malakian, the founder and owner at Broadway Chiropractic Clinic, continues helping patients achieve health, wellness and functionality after traumatic injuries sustained as a result of Automobile Accidents and Work Injuries. She is beloved by her patients and staff due to her positive approach and beliefs in what she can accomplish.
Dr. Malakian continues to further her education by completing various postgraduate workshops and seminars to gain greater insight and knowledge in her field. Her goal and main objective is to help her patients live healthy lives.

I don’t know if this is a problem with ZocDoc or the doctor’s office, but this has happened to me once or twice before, as well as on this visit: I fill out the paperwork online via ZocDoc to save time once I arrive for my appointment, only to find that I need to fill it out again in person. This is what happened to me on this visit to Dr. Malakian. I arrived at my appointment time and had to fill out a ton of paperwork, some of it for the second time. The process of filling out paperwork, being brought back to wait, and finally seeing the doctor took over one hour. In total, I was at this office for 2.5 hours. The rooms were dimly lit, the equipment was janky or broken, and the doctor and staff were arguing with each other and just generally weird and awkward. The treatments I got have helped, but based on my experience I will never go back to this office.

Horrible. Unprofessional. Accused me of being upset after I cancelled work appointments to come and see her and, upon arrival, told me she wouldn’t treat me without further clearance from my doctor. Um...yeah. I’m upset. I’m in pain and you’re refusing to treat me. But fine. I immediately called my doctor and had her fax clearance. I then waited days to hear back from the office—and left three messages which went unreturned. Today she finally calls back and says that she will no longer treat me because she and her staff “don’t feel safe.” Probably could have told me that the next day instead of making me wait, in pain, for another six days. Horrible provider, entirely untrustworthy and unprofessional. Would never recommend. Ever.

Dr. Leyla Malakian has very good bed side manner, and I appreciated her caution before treating me and advised me to get cleared by a primary physician before working on my back due to my situation. She seemed understaffed which delayed my appointment, however she was very nice and I would go back to visit.

They were having trouble with finding the forms that I need to sign for my insurance which took about 1hr for them to find. So I had been waiting for 45mins until I was seen. Dr Malakian is great at what she does since she explained me what she has to do and why she has to do it. Although part of the time she was getting distracted by others even though she was with me. Overall the session went okay but the wait time is long. It might have been because I was a new patient.

Office is clean and updated. Staff is excellent. Dr. is very observant with great bedside manner. I didn't feel rushed, Dr. Malakian took her time to answer all my questions and concerns. Felt great after my massage, treatments and adjustment. I've been to many chiropractors and felt sore after my adjustments, but not with Dr. Malakian. She was very gentle.

I've been to many chiropractors before but have never had a Dr. do a posture analysis. Dr. Malakian didn't just care about my current issues but also focused on preventative measures. After performing a thorough analysis, we discussed areas that could use improvement. She even printed out and emailed me video clips of stretches and core exercises, personalized for me and my posture.

Another amazing experience with Dr. Malakian. Showed up to my 3:30pm appointment 25 minutes early and Sharon at the front desk was able to treat me right away. Treatment was on point! After a machine called the matrix helped relax my muscles, an excellent massage from Jacklyn, and a couple adjustments from the Dr. Herself, I left feeling much better and very relaxed. Dr. Malawian doesn't just tend to the current condition but gives helpful insight on how to prevent injuries in the future. Job well done.

Dr. Malakian is a very knowledgeable doctor and a very sweet woman. I have been back a few times already and every time it is a joy to see her. She is very concerned with healing rather than just managing pain, which I have experienced at some other doctors. She has created a game plan personalized for me and I already have been seeing some results in the little time I have been going to her.
Along with Dr. Malakian, her staff is very professional and lovely. I have yet to have a bad experience or any trouble whether I need to cancel an appointment or get in at the last minute for an emergency one. I am very glad I found them!

Dr. Leyla Malakian seemed like she was a very thorough and precise Chiropractor, and I love it! She looked at my posture, my spine, my stance, and was able to correctly identify that my right pelvic bone was higher than my left, making my right leg shorter than the other.
I've have been to really terrible chiropractors who don't even adjust you and Dr. Leyla adjusted me until she got it right. I will be going back again.

The appointment was alright. The doctor left the door open during the appointment, which felt strange to me since other patients could see inside. Also, I couldn't enter the building until 10:10 so I stayed waiting outside for 25 minutes.
