Great doctor listened to all my prior medical problems and wrote them down and prior family history medical problems. Was very aware of the pain I am in and also understood what was the reason behind my psychiatric diagnosis. Is not to familiar with drug addiction and medication dosing for this problem I assume because she said this is a high dose on 75mg of methadone and this is low to average dose for an ex drug addict. But not to considered about this because she seemed very well educated in every other area and I have my methadone maintenance program for my methadone. She did a thorough check up on me and even referred me to a cardiologist for my chest pain and sharp needle like pain in my heart. Due to my family history of open heart surgery. Definitely recommend her because she is a good listener and always ask if interested in certain test and which ones and why she recommends them. Finally found a decent primary care doctor. They waited for me to get to the appointment to tell me they didn’t accept my insurance. It wasn’t fair because the office location is difficult for parking I was turning around to park and to get in the office and tell me they haven’t updated their information not fair at all.
I was sick that was the reason of my appointment no one wants to be turned off.

Useless visit. Unable to resolve problem. Wanted to refer me to another specialist. Wasted my money (copay) and my time. Go see another specialist and save yourself frustration.

I was charged a high copay which I had to Zelle or Venmo to them right away and I couldn’t be seen. When I asked why was my copay so high I didn’t get an explanation. After seeing the provider there was an in office test that I had to do and was told I would get a call from the office within 24-48 hours with results and it’s been over a week and no one has called me regarding my results or diagnosis. When I called them no one answered. I’m just really frustrated. The test they made me take to help diagnosis what was wrong was a pharmacy based medication. After I took it I was told this may or may not be covered by your insurance. When I said can someone do a prior authorization for it to be covered in the case it’s not I was told no. No physical exam was done either.

My visit with Dr. Kong was very pleasant. She was attentive to my concerns and provided in-detailed suggestions of care. I am very selective when choosing a provider. I need clarity and informative responses. I received nothing short of exceptional care from Dr. Kong and I look forward to the continuous care I will receive from her.
It should also be mentioned that her front desk staff, with the inclusion of Lin, was professional and efficient. The state of the office is very well kept. Every precaution is taken, especially with regard to COVID.
I will certainly recommend Dr. Kong to my family and friends.

I had a horrendous experience as a first time patient and definitely last! The office called me twice to confirm my appointment and when I ended up going to the office they asked me to wait outside until they were ready for me. I waited about 10 minutes outside and then they called me up to the 5th Floor. I got yelled at for entering their office and was told to wait outside the door. The doctor then proceeded to call me while I’m outside the door to tell me that they aren’t taking new patients that are asymptotic for COVID-19. At that point, I was pretty annoyed especially since I already spoke with the receptionist twice and made my way to the office only for the doctor to tell me she wouldn’t see me.... how ridiculous to waste my time here when I could’ve been seen elsewhere!! The doctor decided to make an exception for me and said they would take me but would have to ask me a fewquestions just as a precaution. I answered the doctor’s questions and also found it quite annoying that the doctor kept mentioning “you had a cough” when I didn’t say that whatsoever.... After answering all the questions via phone, they asked me to walk to the emergency stairwell and then proceeded to talk to me through the glass... the receptionist comes up and doesn’t even greet me and tells me I need to pay first before I get the COVID-19 test, insisting I should “Quickpay” them... I told her I preferred to pay in cash instead. The doctor had horrible beside manners as well so don’t think I will come back to this doctor ever again. This was a horrible experience as a sick patient so take my advice and maybe look elsewhere if you don’t want to end up with a grueling headache...
