An Honors graduate from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in 1986, Dr. Linda Franks then performed her internship at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Next followed her residency at NYU’s Department of Dermatology where she became Chief Resident and also spent a fellowship year of basic science research. Dr. Franks then served Active Duty in the United States Air Force Medical Corps from 1990-94 before joining Gramercy Park Dermatology Associates. A diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Linda Franks is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the International Society of Dermatologic surgery, the Medical Society of the State and County of New York, and the Dermatology Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Her articles have been published in numerous dermatological medical journals.
