She knows her stuff, but certainly isn't warm and fuzzy. She knew exactly what I should take for my skin, and prescribed it, but also really pushed hard for me to buy her product line, which is only sold in heroffice, and is extremely expensive! Be mindful of that.

This office is only interested on patients who wants expensive cosmetic products or service. I went for a medical issue. She did not even look at my skin. I waited over 30 min and i saw her for less than 10 min.

She was very nice, almost too nice, it got a little suspicious at times when she was pushing her very pricy products on me, it felt more like being in the presence of a salesperson and not a doctor if thatmakes any sense. That being said, she makes you feel very comfortable and is super accommodating.

I have seen Dr. Jaliman in the past. I think she is a talented dermatologist and her products and treatments helped me when I had a sudden acute case of adult acne. This time was different, the appointment was extremely brief. Before I could be seen, I was pushed to sign a lot of documents and give my credit card for ongoing payments and social security # and all this info that seemed pretty invasive (marital status, really?) while being offered no info about basic fees. Even though I had been a patient before, I had to pay the new patient visit fee which I suppose is fair but sucks for me and was a surprise. Costs should be clear and upfront. The disparity between a push for info and legal rights on her intake forms and lack of info available pricing for services and products struck me as odd. She did a 5 min mole check and thought the appointment was over, despite all the info I put in my chart. After I asked if she would look at my skin on my face, she didn't even read the notes about my eczema, she barely galnced at me and then began recommending her products. I think her products are great if you can afford them. I can't but still wanted to know how she thought my skin was doing. I asked about new moles on my face that she hadn't seen in her haste. It was frustrating to work so hard in an appointment that you are paying a lot for. Needless to say I think Dr. Jaliman is skilled. But if you are a patient on a budget who is not getting cosmetic work done you will probably get very little time from her. Also her staff was cold and had no time to engage with me other than to ask me which products I wanted ( me - how much do they cost?) and scanning my credit card.

I saw Dr Jaliman for a cosmetic procedure. She met with me right away, explained the pros and cons of different fillers, and didn't try to push more expensive products that were less suitable to my needs. She also works toensure patients maintain a natural look; and so she suggested starting out small, waiting a couple days/weeks to see how I like my appearance, and coming back in if I want to gradually add more. The results are beautiful. Highly recommend!

The staff at Dr. Jaliman's office and Dr. Jaliman herself were wonderful! Going to a new doctor was not uncomfortable at all at her office! They were great at informing me and quickly identifying the problem and giving me a solution.Plus, I booked the appointment SAME DAY on ZocDoc! That never happens with a dermatologist! I'm so happy I went and highly recommend Dr. Jaliman.

Dr. Jaliman actually cares about the welfare of her patients. I already knew she was a good person while interacting with her over email about my issue, before even coming in. While I was in the waiting room, I heard hertalking on the phone to a patient who had just recently been diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. She spoke to them for awhile, about the hardships of getting older, and that they shouldn't worry. When she saw me, she was warm, friendly, engaged. And in a real way. A wonderful doctor. A bright light in this city.

I understand the waiting time because Dr Jaliman gives real attention to each patient and some patients may inexpectedly warrant more attention at the time. Dr Jaliman and her assistant happily talk through everything, responding to all questionsand it makes the waiting time well worthwhile. I love that Dr. Jaliman wears magnifying googles so nothing is missed.

Debra was really good at describing why my mole should be removed. The assistant was excellent at checking me in and describing medication instructions/side effects. Wait time was a little long, but it was my first time visiting so I hadto fill out some extra forms. The administrative staff explained before my appointment that I had not reached my deductible. This was nice to know before my appointment and built trust.

I was going to remove a mole. They left me waiting in a room for about 30 minutes (alone) after applying anesthesia. I really felt bad because of that. They just forgot about me.... But at the end Dr. Jaliman came and did the procedure really quick.

I thought she was very knowlegable. Not the most friendly person, but she was able to find a pre-cancerous mole and remove it. And my face cleared up withing a month of using her products, and it is still clear 6 months later.

I’ve had two appointments with Dr. Jaliman, one for a medical (not cosmetic) procedure, so I now feel prepared to write a review. Though the office is busy, everyone who works with the doctor is very helpful, patient, and friendly, especiallyher nurses/medical assistants. They encourage questions and give honest, clear answers. Dr. Jaliman is efficient (which means short wait times even though the place is busy) but will also take the time to explain what she is doing and why, and answer questions-- all while being genuinely down to earth and cheerful. She clearly loves what she does and is an expert in her field which makes me feel like I’m in good hands. And a bonus—her well-appointed and modern office faces Central Park on Fifth Avenue, so the walk to and fro is extremely pleasant.

She was more concern about how many "Dr Jaliman " products did I buy then with reason why did I came to see her. Wait time was attentional, there were no other patients at the office and yet I waited almost45 minutes, and all that time nurse/ sales rep was bombarding me with dr. Jaliman product offers.

Her nurses come in and give you a sales pitch on her products before she sees you, not the ideal way to begin an appointment. I'm not sure what my diagnoses was. She talks to her nurse the whole time andthen leaves and her nurse gives you directions, any prescriptions and/or asks if you'd like to purchase any of her products. She also brings her dog into the examination room. Didn't really bother me, but may bother others.
