Dr. Linda Lin is a board-certified ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and glaucoma specialist. Dr. Lin was accepted into the prestigious 7-year Honors Program in Medical Education, a combined BA/MD program, at Northwestern University, directly from high school. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University/Ochsner Program in New Orleans. Dr. Lin trained with world-renowned glaucoma expert, Dr. Gregory Skuta, for her glaucoma fellowship at Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Lin performs laser-assisted cataract surgery with premium lens implants (Toric, multifocal, and EDOF), minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries (iStent inject W and Xen 45 gel stent), and traditional glaucoma surgeries (trabeculectomies and glaucoma drainage devices). She is trained on the LenSx Cataract Laser System + ORA. Dr. Lin is certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Glaucoma Society. She performs surgery at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Conroe.
Dr. Lin grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast raised in Port Lavaca, TX, “Home of the Fighting Sandcrabs.” In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
