I have had three sessions with Dr. Fernandez so far and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a psychiatrist in the area. There is usually a short wait time. My only complaint would be that the check in area has a sliding window you have to knock on in order to sign in. It's a bit awkward and makes the process a impersonal. Other than that, I highly recommend not only the doctor but the PA is AMAZING. She's very personalble and makes you feel very comfortable.

Terrible experience here. Never saw the same person. The PA and the dr kept changing my prescriptions and dose seemingly only to make it necessary for me to keep coming back every few weeks. Wait time was always TERRIBLE! I waited over an hour and a half for my last appointment there AND in the process my parking meter expired and my car was booted in their parking lot. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY... go to literally ANYONE ELSE!

Only seems to want to give out prescriptions once a month so that you have to come in, and he can bill your insurance. Terrible inter-physician communication and if you need any part of your record for another doctor, prepare to wait weeks for it.

I've been to two in-person appointments and am now waiting for my one phone appointment. My two in-person appointments took approximately 10 minutes each. Considering this was the first time I'd ever been to a psychiatrist, I was hoping for something a little more thorough. One associate asked me a few basic questions, but Dr. Lino Fernandez spent no time at all trying to get to know me. He prescribed me medication with close to no explanation or reassurance and did not give me time to ask any questions before he put pen to pad. The phone appointment has been even more disappointing. An hour after my scheduled appointment time, I was forced to call in an reschedule after they failed to contact me. They are now an hour late for the rescheduled time. I will never go to this doctor again, and I would not recommend his practice to anyone. Find someone, anyone better.

It took 45 minutes to finally be seen and the room they took me into was filthy with hair all over the floor. I was kind of grossed out. I did speak to the doctor and someone else and that was helpful, but overall it 50/50. I may go back, but i'm going to keep looking for another doctor in the meantime just in case.

He explained in detail everything I needed to know, extremely helpful. He has also very kind and made me feel comfortable on my very first visit to a psychiatrist. It felt like I was taking to a good friend.

Dr Fernandez was very professional, caring and understanding. The social worker conducted an extensive interview before been seen by the doctor, he was very friendly and put me at ease. I already scheduled my follow up, the doctor was very knowledgeable and carefully explained my options.

Every time i go there I need to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. It is extremely annoying especially on days when you are short on time. Today's experience was even worse as the AC wasn't working in the waiting room.
