Hello! My name is Sarah Blizzard. I am a nurse practitioner who is board certified in both family practice and psychiatric mental health. I have been in practice for 24 years as both a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner. I have extensive experience in psychiatric mental health, emergency medicine, and urgent care. I am able to treat many mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, OCD, Bipolar disorder, dementia and Alzheimer's disease, traumatic brain injuries, ADHD, and much more. I also specialize in taking care of older patients who are medically complex and taking multiple medications. My goal is to help you reach your highest quality of life and become the best version of yourself! I am passionate about helping people gain access to mental health care and believe healthcare should be easily accessible, affordable, and of the highest quality. I am empathetic, compassionate, respectful, caring, and competent. I follow the model of taking care of patients as they were my own family. Healthcare can be scary and complicated to navigate, but it doesn't have to be, and I am passionate about helping you to make the process as easy and painless as possible. I am married and have two children, ages 11 and 17. I live in the Orlando, FL area, and have worked for over 20 years serving my community. I graduated from the Maryville University of St. Louis with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and a post-master's certificate as a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP). In 2011, I graduated with a Master's of Nursing degree where I attained my family nurse practitioner (FNP) degree and certification. Prior to this, I worked as a registered nurse for 16 years in the emergency and psychiatric settings. I look forward to working with you and helping you become your best and healthiest.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
