I also hold a Master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami, completed in 1999. I have been board certified since 2000 with The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and, since 2022, as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I manage children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar depression, eating disorders, PTSD, ADHD, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, mood disorder, adjustment disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, conduct disorder, opioid-related disorder, alcoholism, cannabis-related disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, transgender care, and gender dysphoria.
