I have been with Dr. Ganjhu for more than 6 years. I see her once or twice a year to do annual check up. She is always pleasant and patient and answer all my questions thoroughly. I had terrible experience with other gastro doctors. I know I am in a good hand that she cares about her patients.I highly recommend Dr. Ganjhu.

Dr. Ganjhu is knowledgeable, informative, warm and welcoming. An appointment with her leaves me feeling well cared for and empowered.

As someone with bad experiences with several gastroenterologists in New York City I was worried to go in and meet Dr. Ganjhu, but she completely exceeded all expectations. She was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She took the time to get a full history and listen to my concerns instead of just rushing through the appointment. She explained my condition to me thoroughly and went through all possible treatment options. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a gastroenterologist.

Dr. Ganjhu has no manners. I felt uncomfortable from the moment she walked in. She is not pleasant, doesnt' seem to care very much about her practice and actually helping others. I don't usually write reviews but she was very condescending and rude. I would never recommend this doctor.
I have been with Dr. Ganjhu for years. She is patient, professional and truly care about my condition. I do check up every 3 months and it's always pleasant and smooth.
Verified patient
she is a disgrace to the medical profession. does not touch you or examine you like she is superior to the rest of humanity. she is a disgrace to Osteopathy. she did not look at my blood work I brought from recent tests. would not look at my Ultrasound CD I brought. she laughed when I told her I GOOGLED the high ferritin my Primary was concerned about. very patronizing. does not care about patients or their problems. avoid her like the PLAGUE! I would not send my dog or cat to this woman. she has no empathy for patients.
Verified patient
very attentive and thorough.
She is very professional and more importantly kind. Most doctors seem very robotic now a days but she was attentive, which I'm immensely thankful for given the reason I went to see her. She even took the extra time to talk with my pharmacist to make sure I got the Rx they covered, so sweet.
Verified patient
Very thorough and clear.
I visited Dr. Ganjhu regarding some stomach issues. I received results regarding my stomach allergies quickly. The wait time at the NYU Facility Group Practice was a bit long though.
Office staff was extremely professional and polite. The waiting room was very pleasant: cheerful and light, with comfortable furniture. Everywhere from waiting area to treatment room was spotless. Dr. Ganjhu put me at ease immediately. I'm very happy to have her in my care family!

She has a terrible bedside manner. She did not treat me as though she had any concern for my health at all.. She didn't even attempt to fake it. While we were in the exam room together she stayed as far away from me as was possible in the space and when it came time to actually examiner new, she barely made an effort to look at me. But she did offer up an inadequate diagnosis and suggest I see a different type of specialist. I would not recommend her to anyone unless you prefer your doctors to treat you like they would rather be anywhere else.
I am very pleased with my visit and with my treatment. Dr. Ganjhu is very nice and really takes the time to answer any questions and concerns. A++
Lisa was extremely helpful in preparing me for my endoscopy, something I was very nervous about (despite it being a routine procedure). She made it seem easy, and I was pleased with how everything went. The only thing I'll say is that I was not 100% sure what the results of my endoscopy were initially (until I came back for my annual physical several months later), and I wish that I had been given clearer instructions about determining the outcome of the endoscopy. The next time I need this type of procedure, I'll be sure to book a follow-up right away.

Dr. Ganjhu was great! She really took the time to listen to me and offer feedback. She really seemed to care. She was thorough with what she wanted to have done to me---which is surprising as this was my first visit with her. What really made her stand out as GI doc is that she called me the next morning to see how I was doing and to relay my test result. I will definitely be seeing her again. Thank you, Dr. Ganjhu!
I found Dr. Ganjhu to be dismissive and the appointment felt rushed. I ended up looking for another GI specialist after the appointment.
It was a waste of time. She ran some tests on me and made me go back (and pay again) just to tell me it was all good. She didn't answer any of my questions, gave me lines that sounded "canned" at best, didn't remember me or my case at all the second time I was there... Oh, and they outsourced my tests without telling me so I had to pay for those separately too. It ended up being highly dissatisfying, really a waste of time, and super expensive.

She was very easy to talk to, very knowledgable. She made me feel very comfortable. She opened my eyes to a lot of little things I could change to start feeling better aside from medicine. She was overall very good.
Verified patient
Dr. Ganjhu is the nicest, smartest doctor around. She is down to earth and easy to talk with about medical care. I highly recommend her.
Verified patient
She was so very attentive and smart and helpful!
Excellent doctor. Gentle thoughtful and smart.
I would NOT recommend Dr. Ganjhu, even if she is one of the few female GI's in NYC. She was not very empathetic when I was discussing personal symptoms, nor did she explain treatment options or potential causes in detail. No physical exam, condescending attitude and no proper review of my blood work. I was left feeling disappointed and awkward. Front desk staff also made a copay error; I'll be sprinting back to my old GI!
I felt human. Dr Ganjhu listened to all of my concerns. Asked lifestyle questions to explore more about me personally. Her soft demeanor and great sense of humor is a plus too.
Verified patient
Dr. Ganjhu was very sympathetic and understanding. She gave me a few options of how to deal with my issues and scheduled a follow up. She was very kind, too!
Very friendly and professional

Extremely thorough and able to recommend to the doctor I needed to get to. She followed up and made sure I was taken care of and couldnt thank her enough.
Verified patient
Always lovely as usual. Dr. Ganjhu has a great bedside manner and has always made me feel comfortable during all my visits. She's extremely professional and very thorough.

This was my first visit and I found it pleasant, professional and informative. I had no unanswered question and I felt that every effort was made to make me feel comfortable. I believed that there was a genuine interest and concern for the patient.
It was my first time seeing a GI doc. I felt more comfortable with a woman, but there aren't many for whatever reason. I was very pleasantly surprised by how seriously Dr. Ganjhu took my symptoms and how considerate she was. It was a good experience.
Verified patient
Very professional.

Please, if there is a better physician anywhere I never met them. I have worked in NY area hospitals for over 20 years; she is the best of the best!
Verified patient
Overall, this doctor seemed very nice and her office staff were amazing. I liked that Dr. Ganjhu took a very detailed history and I did not feel rushed. I know that I have read a lot and can be a difficult patient and I was happy that she did discuss treatment options with me. She listened to my concerns. However, I didn't feel like she was able to give in-depth answers to all my questions. She also did not physically examine me and relied solely on my medical history and past diagnosis to prescribe treatment. I have not decided if I would see her again as it did not seem she had in-depth knowledge on my specific condition (however that is true for almost every GI I have gone to). As far as accessibility, she did offer that I could call her with questions. My sense is that she is a great doctor but maybe not right for me.

Didn't rush me, and listened patiently to my symptoms and concerns. Honestly, the best doctor i've had in the city ever because I felt she genuinely cared.
she was good
