Michael P. Glick, MD, PNS, CNSC, is a board-certified gastroenterologist, internist, and physician nutrition specialist. After graduating cum laude from Columbia University, he earned his Doctor of Medicine from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, where he was honored with the prestigious Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. He then underwent fellowship training in gastroenterology and nutrition at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Glick has presented original research at national conferences and published peer-reviewed research articles. His practice encompasses all aspects of gastroenterology, endoscopy, and nutrition, including colon cancer screening, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, acid reflux, abdominal pain, swallowing problems, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome. Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists, he believes that nutrition and medicine are complementary.
Dr. Glick is among the first doctors in NYC to perform AI-enhanced colonoscopy, which helps detect precancerous polyps that might otherwise be missed during regular screenings, leading to better protection against colorectal cancer.
