The best dermatologist I've been to for screening cancer. She detected I had basal cell on my lip while 3 other dermatologists did not catch it. I will continue to go to her for skin screenings and so will my family members!

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Hochman is a graduate of Lehigh University (1983) in Bethlehem, PA, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry (1987) in Newark, New Jersey. After medical school, Dr. Hochman completed a residency in internal medicine, including a year as chief resident at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Following a fellowship in Dermatology Research at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Hochman completed residency training in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (1995) in Philadelphia, PA, where she was also chief resident. Dr. Hochman has been featured locally in the Morris County Daily Record discussing treatment options for acne. Dr. Hochman is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey and the Morris County Medical Society. She served as the President of The Dermatological Society of New Jersey, North Central division from 2008 through 2010. Dr. Hochman is on staff at Morristown Medical Center.

I visited with Dr. Hochman for the first time yesterday. First off, before she came in, her assistant was INCREDIBLE. I mean..so patient with me and careful to take in all the info. I had. Then when Dr. Hochman came, she went over her recommendations and explained thoroughly; she also made sure to answer all of my questions. It was a good interaction. I’m supposed to go back in a few months so we will see what my results consist of. It was a great experience! Thank you Dr. Hochman :).

Very professional and nice. Was getting a small pimple like bump removed that has been on my face for years. She brought me in and cut off perfectly in 15 minutes. One week later with her recommenced post treatment care it almost looks like nothing was ever there

Dr Hochman had a warm bedside manner and was knowledgeable. She listened to my questions and I didn’t feel rushed. She documented (photos for ref) well. The gowns were appropriate for the exam and I felt my privacy was maintained throughout the appointment which is not always the case at a dermatology exam. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Dr. Hochman was very attentive and compassionate. She listened to all my issues patiently and tried to understand my problem. I hives for almost 2 weeks and was leaving behind bumps and hyperpigmentation. Her treatment plan worked very quickly and most of my bumps and rashes are improved, I am no longer itchy and my hyperpigmentation is also getting better.
The wait was long due to covid times and having appointments too close together but it was well worth the wait! Highly recommend Dr. Hochman!

First time visit to Dr. Hochman for a total screening and check of a particular concern. Very easy to talk with and respected my concerns and explained her approach. I felt totally comfortable with the visit and no unnecessary drug/cream pushing like my last dermatologist. Office staff and assistants were all pleasant too. A very positive experience.
