She received her medical degree from the Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Zdinak was fellowship trained in oculoplastic surgery and advanced techniques of noninvasive facial rejuvenation by Stephen L. Bosniak, M.D. Dr. Zdinak has worked with several of the nation’s top surgeons in Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and New York City. She is the most recent fully-trained surgical fellow by the late Dr. Bosniak.
Dr. Zdinak has a vast experience using facial sculpting and is also an expert in the use of natural filling agents for lip augmentation, restoration of lost facial volume, and facial reconstruction. Dr. Zdinak is certified in the use of Restylane , Perlane®, Juvéderm , Juvéderm™ Ultra Plus, Sculptra®, and Radiesse™ for soft tissue augmentation and the use of Thermage for the nonsurgical face lift, nonsurgical eye lift, and body contouring.
Dr. Zdinak is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Medical Association, and the New York State Medical Society. She has authored several scientific papers and textbook chapters on the use of minimally invasive techniques for facial rejuvenation. Dr. Zdinak has been an invited clinical instructor at the 2009 World Congress on Anti-aging and Aesthetic Medicine in Monte Carlo, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, and the NYC Aging Face Conference.
