Dr. Livia Derdova is a board certified optometric physician who earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree from Montclair State University. She graduated from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, with a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Dr. Derdova completed her externship in primary care optometry and ocular disease.She graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Dr. Livia Derdova has worked in the field of optometry and ophthalmology for over ten years. Dr. Derdova has worked for several ophthalmology and optometry practices in Northern New Jersey where she fell in love with her profession.
Dr. Derdova is very passionate about eye health. She was chosen to present her ocular disease research at the annual American Optometric Association meeting. Dr. Derdova takes extreme pleasure in diagnosing and treating her patients’ visual problems. She has a passion for fitting contact lenses and takes special interest in dry eye issues.
Dr. Derdova is fluent in Hungarian, Slovak, Polish, Czech and English. She is currently accepting new patients and cannot wait to put her passion for helping others into practice.

Dr. Derdova and her team were heaven sent! I went in with an emergency eye injury, and they took me right away. Everyone was friendly and helpful . Amidst all the craziness going on with Covd-19, they were truly a bright spot. Can’t thank them enough!

I was so pleased with my visit! The entire staff at Wise Vision was so accommodating, friendly, and professional. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and they were even able to take me a few minutes early. The whole eye exam took 10-15 minutes. Best eye doctor in Hoboken.
