My patients always tell me that I am easy to talk to and that I "really listen" and I think that sums up why I have been successful in getting people to lead happier and healthier lives. I am very good at medication management, but I offer so much more than that. I am empathetic, I look at you as a human being not as a diagnosis or simply as a patient. I try to help you identify what symptoms we are treating and then to identify what steps need to be taken to manifest into your best self. Maybe it means a medication change or adding a new medication or maybe it means treating vitamin deficiencies or changes in diet and life style. Maybe it means a better night's sleep or a specific kind of therapy. Your treatment plan will be as individual as you.
My experience in mental health and psychiatry has been diverse and includes working as an individual provider for patients ages 3 to 95 years age, serving as a medical director of integrated behavioral health in a hospital and being a preceptor and mentor to other psychiatric nurse practitioners. I am passionate about my work.
A little about me as a person: I am known as a kind and empathetic person with a sense of humor. I am non-judgemental and all inclusive . I do no discriminate.
