He always begins his appointments asking questions about ones overall health. He is patient. I have never felt rushed.

Dr. Sobel received his BA from Brandeis University and his MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in New York City.
After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, he trained in Ophthalmology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where he is currently on the teaching staff.
Following his ophthalmology residency, Dr. Sobel completed an additional year of training as a Fellow in Glaucoma at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Everyone at the front is wonderful and kind, Dr.Sobel is an extremely calming presence which is perfect for a high-strung person like me prone to crying at medical appointments in general. I was a nervous wreck coming in and totally calmed down by the time I left.
