“The office is close to my workplace, and I’m glad they offer appointments after 5pm, so that I could log off work and go check my eyes without worrying about staring at the laptop after my pupils being dilated. The eye exam went faster than I thought as well.
The assistant and the doctor were nice; the front desk staff could be a bit less motionless, but I totally get it - it was almost 6pm. Who doesn’t want to go home by the time? But I appreciate more about their flexibility to provide after-work hours.”

This is a in and out office. Not somewhere with friendly service or somewhere ur gonna choose your next glasses. If you have concerns about your vision and eyes I would go to another doctor. But if you just need your lenses or glasses prescription this is an easy spot.

Great experience! Billing was clear, assistants were efficient, and of the three optometrists I’ve been to in the city, Dr. Hogue was the most patient and knowledgeable in explaining the different options for contacts and the first to offer samples for trial. Also appreciate not getting an aggressive pitch for LASIK the way other offices have done.

I checked in with the front desk staff & they asked if I wanted a contact lens exam or standard one. I asked if the contact lens exam was also covered by insurance & they checked that there would be an additional fee so I declined & said to continue with the standard eye exam. I explained that I haven't had an eye exam for several years & felt that my vision was changing & I was experiencing more light sensitivity & noticed floaters in my vision, but that my last prescription had been really small. They administered around 3 different exams and dr. hogue confirmed that my vision was fine & that the floaters were normal part of aging & that there were no tears in my retina. When I was checking out, the front desk stated that I owed an additional copay because the additional exam for floaters isn't covered by vision insurance and so they billed my medical insurance. I was confused because the additional exam being extra wasn't communicated & I had booked a regular vision exam.

Beautiful office, excellent staff, and an attentive and pretty good looking doctor made this experience such a joy! I went for a lasik evaluation and everyone was friendly and I could tell that they were going above and beyond to make sure that I was a good candidate for the surgery. Dr. Hogue explained to me the findings and went over all the details and I felt like I was in good hands. I was a little nervous about the idea of getting surgery done but speaking to the doctor, the techs, and the surgeon reassured me that this will be the best decision for my eye health.

I'm so impressed with the quality of care Dr. Hogue and his team provides. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explaining things in a way that's easy for someone that didn't go to medical school to understand. He's also incredibly friendly and personable, I didn't feel intimidated stepping into my appointment at all.
The scheduling process with the office staff is so simple (shoutout to Annamaria at the front desk)! They are friendly and I was able to get my appointment with the doctor within a couple of days -- not weeks/months away like with some other doctors.
Super happy with this office and Dr. Hogue - highly recommend them!

Dr. Hogue is honestly one of the best.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but Dr. Hogue really deserves one. He’s super calm, kind, and just easy to be around, which says a lot because I’m not exactly the easiest patient. He explained everything clearly, never rushed me, and actually listened. I got both contacts and glasses from him, and he made the whole process painless. Just a really genuine, down-to-earth doctor who knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend
