Great location! Very cool facility. The practitioner was awesome! The front desk protocol cannot import the pre-fill forms from Zocdoc… What a complete bummer! As a result… You get to write your information to her three times… Really stupid.

Dr. Godwin has been in private practice in Fairfield County since 2002, treating adults and children for a wide range of dermatological conditions, including acne, psoriasis, eczema and skin cancer, among many others. His approach to medicine is simple: Put the patient first.
In 2013, Dr. Godwin opened Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut with the goal of having a team of dermatologists in CT that provide personalized care and the latest dermatological advancements to patients through two state-of-the-art office facilities in Norwalk and Shelton. The practice focuses on general dermatology for adults and children along with a variety of cosmetic procedures.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Godwin earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the New York University School of Medicine, where professors elected him to the Alpha Omega Alpha Society for his outstanding work. He completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and his dermatology residency at Stony Brook University on Long Island.
Dr. Godwin is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
When not busy with his wife and three daughters, you can find him out and about playing golf and tennis (while wearing sunscreen, of course).

We thank Dr. Godwin and his staff for such wonderful care of my daughter. When she first had to come she was in tears, but was willing to come to each follow-up visit because of the care she recieved here. We have recommended this office to many family members.

Dr.Godwin has a lot of energy and clearly has an immediate idea about how to treat a situation. The office was pleasant and the nurse was excellent, plus I only had to wait about 10 minutes in the waiting room. It seems that Dr.Godwin may be a little rushed either because he's so high energy or he may have a long list of patients to see, both of which are positives overall. Although it was only my first time meeting him, I would not hesitate to return or to recommend him.
