About Jie Li
Jie Li, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Hunter College, her Bachelor of Nursing degree from New York University, and her Master’s degree in Family Nursing from Long Island University, Brooklyn. Prior to joining The Dermatology Specialists, Jie worked for over 7 years as a registered nurse in both the Emergency Department and Medical Surgical step-down unit at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her previous experience allowed her to serve a diverse patient population and manage various medical conditions; however, Jie's passion is dermatology, which developed while accompanying her mother to multiple dermatologists over five years before her mother’s skin condition was finally diagnosed. Jie is dedicated to caring for her patients as if they are family.
Jie is fluent in Chinese Mandarin. In her free time, she loves hiking, biking, and dancing. She is also a certified Zumba dance instructor and enjoys teaching fitness dance classes.

They didn’t accept my insurance and they didn’t inform me in advance! It shows that my insurance is in the network and that’s why i scheduled the appointment.Waste of time. They didn’t even check and I wasn’t informed.

The wait was longer than my visit. I felt the visit was not comprehensive enough; it was brief and quick. Having a medical assistant/medical scribe standing there was also uncomfortable, in my opinion. I felt the provider was late for all the appointments, so the visit was cut short.

Office was modern, clean and welcoming. Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Waited less than 10 minutes to be seen by provider. All questions/ concerns were answered and addressed in a professional manner . Excellent bedside manner by both medical assistant and nurse practitioner which made me feel comfortable. I would recommend this office to family.

I’m so glad that this doctor was available to book an appointment for my convenient time because she is awesome! She answered all my questions and concerns, gave me some instructions and was very professional. The office staff was very friendly and helpful, receptionist assisted me with all the papers I have to file before the exam and advised me with all my questions as well. The office ambience is modern and cool, there is a cozy lobby with the fridge with some drinks and it is pretty much well organized. The only issue was the temperature, I wouldn’t say that it was unacceptable for a human being, but it was decent cold in there. They told me that there is some problems with the heating and that’s why they need to keep the place cold. So I will give this place 9/10, definitely coming back with a warmer outfit).
