Very to the point and professional. Come prepared with any questions or concerns you may have because the opportunity is hard and fast to talk about things. Humor and sensitivity is not her thing, but that probably saves on other patient's time which I understand after the fact. Thanks !

Luba Soskin M.D. is the newest member of Cityscape OBGYN, PLLC. She graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1997 with a biopsychology and cognitive science concentration. Dr. Soskin stayed in Michigan and graduated from Wayne State School of Medicine in 2002. She then came to New York to complete her residency at NY Downtown Hospital. Dr. Soskin has been involved with research throughout her undergraduate and medical career. She has published papers and given presentations on various topics of women’s health such as ectopic pregnancy, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and sexual dissatisfaction.
Prior to joining CityScape OB/GYN, Dr. Soskin was a faculty member practicing at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. She was actively involved in resident and medical student teaching and became an assistant professor of OB/GYN at Albert Einstein School of Medicine.

Appt was thorough and fast. Staff went above and beyond to obtain records from previous doctor's office. Everyone was pleasant, timely and professional. It was greatly appreciated and I look forward to coming for my next visit! I felt cared for, listened to and welcomed.

i personally don't need/like a lot of hand-holding from my doctors, so i really liked Dr. Soskin. I also have minimal history that needs discussing, so I can breeze through the questions she asked in her office before the exam. When i did as a question about my birth control pills she answered thoroughly, so I assume she just matched my pace.

Doctor was clearly knowledgable but her bedside manner was terrible. She was abrasive and rushed, was quite rough in her annual exam and unhelpful when answering my questions. This is the second time I've seen this doctor and I will not return.

Going to the ob/gyn is not the most fun experience, but with Dr. Soskin, I felt comfortable. I really appreciate the fact that we had a brief discussion before the exam. I am neurotic about my health, and she took the time to answer my questions without looking at me like I was nuts (which I'm sure was hard to do).

This was my first time seeing Dr. Soskin, but I will definitely go back to see her. She seemed to be pretty busy, but made sure to have a thorough meet & greet without rushing through the appointment. She had a great bedside manner and good suggestions.

I'm a little late in reviewing Dr.Soskin but she is really a wonderful Ob/GYN. She always made me feel at ease and answered any questions I had, plus the office (Cityscape) is clean, modern and beautiful. Wait time is pretty normal and sometimes was very quick.

Dr. Soskin is very nice, albeit a bit rushed. I've definitely seen doctors who take more time with me, and some who've taken less. I will go back to here though. Nice offices and a very personable bedside manner.

Excellent. She delivered my first baby and that is why I went back to the practice again. She is competent, nice, smart, organized, and really on top of everything. She gives sound practical advice and is very thorough in her appointments. She always treats me with respect. I attribute my son's life to her medical skills.

The office is nice. The employees are efficient but not friendly. The doctor was good at being direct and collected the necessary information yet was very rough during my exam.

The office was large, clean and modern. Dr Soskin was friendly and put me at ease. However the appointment seemed very rushed, Dr Soskin spoke incredibly quickly and the exam itself was very quick to the point I questioned how thorough it was. To her credit she did ask if I had any questions but in such a chaotic manner I did not really feel I had time to think or explore anything in detail. Reception and assistant medical staff were quite rude and not particularly helpful. I would consider coming back but will probably explore other options too.

I went in to confirm pregnancy and when the receptionist called me to get some more info she was a bit rude informing me that I had to be late for a week -which I already was and her overall tone and manner was bit rude! Once I got to the office everyone was very pleasant and nice, Dr. Soskin was very nice and asked me several times if I had questions! They gave me starter bag, which I thought would have some pamphlets with nutritional info and other important information on pregnancy, however once I got home I realized that it was only bag full of vitamins -mhh I understand this wasn't the official 1st parental visit however I am pregnant and important things are happening up to week 8 which is when they schedule the actual 1st visit. I know this is common but a little sensitviy goes a long way. Again Dr. Soskin was great and I will be going back!
