Front desk were disorganized. I just called to confirm my third appointment and they couldn't find me, even though I called up to make appointment last week. This isn't my only bad experience.
The doctor took me in for my first appointment and told me to come back the next day if it didn't get any better. Charged me for both sessions, feel it should have been just a follow up given he told me to come back and didn't really do anything more than prod the eyelid. After the second consult, he told me to come back again in the new year if it wasn't fixed. I was willing to forget about the double charge with no results for my third appointment, surgery to remove growth on my eyelid. No appointment in the system. Really disappointed.

The doctor was fine. The staff however was horrible. INSANELY long story short and three months of effort of trying to get my correct contacts, I never received them. Even after i was reassured by his wife whom also apologized for the "miscommunication" and "under-staffing issues" that i would receive sample contacts to try since the ones I ordered didn't work for me. Needless to say, two months after that phone call, - i'm contactlenseless.
I will never be going back.

Doctor had equipment that was at least 30 years old. He barely talked to me then basically said sorry I have no idea why your eyes are red. Gave me some allergy drops that don't work and left the room without even saying goodbye.

Dr. Gordon,is more than 5 stars for service. He should have 10 or 100 stars. That is how good his service is for working patients including myself.
He goes above and beyond customer service, raising the bar for other optometrists in the area.
He will be recommended for a long time, and is best optometrist i seen in very long time.

I'm confused by this Doctor. I arrived for my appointment shortly after 2 and didn't leave the office until after 4. There was only one other patient before me and he finished her up within a few minutes of my arrival. He then proceeded to work on his computer for at least 20 minutes. I was brought into the exam room only to wait another 10 minutes while he disappeared. He then asked typical questions while typing again on the computer. He then started my exam without any prep - no washing hands, etc. I should have said something, but didn't. He did a thorough exam but the next disturbing thing he did was put a round magnifying glass object in my eye only to return it back to the case and zip it up. I can't say for sure, but it appeared that was a standard tool and it looked like he had I intention of disinfecting it. I also noticed that he had a sink in the exam room - but no soap. I'm not s clean freak, but I visited his office with a major eye infection and can't believe the disregard for hygiene. I won't be returning to this doctor. On the positive side, the medicine he prescribed worked immediately.

I still cannot get over the fact that DrGordon let me pass out in his office and decided to step out instead of providing me with and/or calling for assistance...Within 2 minutes after he administered the numbing and dilating eye drops, I became extremely nauseous and told him that I was really not feeling well and needed to lay down. As I started feeling weak and felt that my body was giving away, I slid down into the chair (which was fully upright and raised at least 3 feet above the ground) to try to achieve a more "laid down" position and to prevent falling down from high above the ground in the event that I were to lose consciousness. Instead of giving me assistance, Dr.Gordon stepped out to go see his next patient "while the drops were taking effect" so he would not waste time while my pupils dilate. As I felt my blood pressure drop and my heart palpitating, I put myself to the ground and rose my feet up, resting them against the chair, to avoid losing complete consciousness. I tried drinking water from the bottle that I had in my hands, but my body was unresponsive at that time. The secretary walked in and asked me what I was doing. With the little energy that I had left, I struggle saying "water, I need water". I could hear things from far away. As she wasn't doing anything, although very laborious for me to use my lips I managed to say "I cant move, feed me water, please". She then finally grabbed the bottle and fed me water drop by drop, until I finally regained full consciousness. Although I am thankful that she was here and stood by my side, Im still quite upraised by the fact that she seemed amused rather then alarmed by the situation. Not only was it embarassing enough as is for me to be passing out, but for it to be neglected like that was scary and degrading! Last but not least, Dr.Gordon said that I needed to be referred to a neurologist for my eye symptoms, the secretary said that she would call them to schedule me in and call me right back, and she never did. I thus called her again two days later to check on the status of this referral, reminding her that I would be going out of town the following week. She said that she would call me back before the end of the day once she's able to reach the neurologist's office, and she never did. Needless to mention how frustrated and disappointed I am with this lack of care and professionalism. I hate to give negative feedbacks, but this experience was beyond anything that I would have ever imagined possible in a healthcare facility.

I took my three children to Dr. Gordon. We were welcomed right away & seen right away in his lovely, relaxing office. My young children were very comfortable and not at all scared even though they were not going to a pediatric opthamologist, per se. Dr. Gordon has an amazing amount of patience. My other children were being a bit annoying while the other one was being examined. He was extremely courteous, patient & understanding throughout. Dr. Gordon has a very high level of expertise. My 9 year old has a special & rare eye condition. She usually sees a peditric neurological opthamologist. He was not available that day & we went to Dr. Gordon because it was an immediate & urgent matter. The highly specialized specialist who we usually see told us after that Dr. Gordon was right on the mark with everything he said. Her prescription changed, but he told us we probably should not alter her prescription due to her rare condition. Dr. Gordon is terrific! I would highly recommend him to everyone & anyone! Thank you!
