I waited for almost two hours to see Dr. Reddy, only to be in the room with her for *maybe* five minutes. She didn't even glance at my paperwork; I basically just told her what I had already written in the forms. She sped through what she wanted me to do, and rushed me out. I understand that my symptoms are probably ones she hears often but there was no care that went into the visit, and it makes a person who has just waited two hours to see you like they wasted their time. I had to reiterate several times my concerns before she acknowledged them (in contrast, my last Gastro doctor -- who my new insurance doesn't cover -- sat down, took time to really understand what was going on, and explained how everything works ). None of that. After the appointment was over, she gave me what I thought was the Rx for a medication she wanted me to take, only to arrive at the pharmacy and find it is not an Rx for pills and the pharmacy never received a prescription for me. Sloppy. Also, the office is in Brooklyn Hospital Center which is a large building complex with different buildings and wings. Nothing about the actual location of Dr. Reddy's office within the complex is noted when you make the appointment, and the people at the desk in the main entrance are clueless. I showed up 15 minutes late because I was lost in the hospital. I would make sure to ask them on the phone how to get there before you arrive. Lastly, be aware that ZocDoc has listed appointments for dates that the doctor is not in the office.
