Excellent all around appointment. The doctor examined my ear and throat, explained his diagnosis of the problem, prescribed three drugs for me and explained why he was doing so. Also scheduled a two week follow-up appointment. The doctor is courteous but professional, no small talk, jokes, etc, gets right down to business. I will see Dr Mayer for all future ear, nose and throat problems.

I was very satisfied with the doctor.

He was not very polite and his staff was incompetent when I tried to schedule a follow up appointment. I have no patience when Doctors are rude and their staff cannot do their jobs (i.e. making appointments).
Great doc will go back in 6 months

Other than one of the front desk receptionists, the staff was very warm and inviting. Dr. Mayer was very informative and willing to answer any questions I had. The overall experience was smooth and painless and I would highly recommend anyone to go to this ENT Doctor.

it should have been apparent why I was able to get an appointment in one day when all the other ENTs I tried that were referrals would take weeks. His attitude is rude and condescending. Although I have ear pain and the last of a head cold, he said there was nothing wrong that he could see. I asked him to fill out my FMLA paperwork for work. He told me he doesn't know me and that he will put only that I am complaining of pain but he couldn't see anything. I asked if it is OK to fly (I am a flight attendant) due to what feels like blocked ears, and he just shrugged it off saying if it wasn't I would find that out when I got in the air. (Uh - is that after my ear drum ruptures?) DO NOT GO TO HIM.
