Dr. Sidor is a Harvard-trained, quadruple board certified psychiatrist in New York City, providing case consultation, psychotherapy, coaching and medication management to adults, adolescents, and children. He chose training programs that integrated the psychological and biological approaches and he has been fortunate enough to work with, and be educated by, some of the best mentors and teachers in the field. Dr. Sidor completed his general psychiatry residency at New York Medical College where he was selected academic chief resident. He completed additional training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, followed by forensic and addiction psychiatry training. He then pursued training in public psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center. He has served as Senior Psychiatrist, Senior Director, and Medical Director in a variety of health care systems. He is currently Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at Columbia University, Medical Director for CASES(Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services.)During his forensic training, Dr. Sidor took a year course in mental health and family law at the prestigious Syracuse Law School at Syracuse University. He is the Founder, CEO and President for SWEET Institute, an organization that provides a supportive community to health care professionals and gives them empowering tools to continue to care for themselves and their patients and clients.Dr. Sidor has also served as medical director of a large community health clinic in Philadelphia and worked there for four years. He also has advanced training in psychopharmacology at the Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School.
