Dr. Maeder is the best doctor I've been to. She takes time to address each of my concerns. I'm usually nervous to go to the doctors and feel awkward asking questions, but Dr. Maeder always makes me feel comfortable.

Margie Maeder, MD – Margie grew up near Pittsburgh, PA and earned her undergraduate degree at Denison University in Ohio. She and her husband met at medical school in Cincinnati, OH and moved to Denver in 2007 for OB/GYN and Family Medicine training. Margie lives in central Denver with her dog and cat. She enjoys all of the great outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, especially skiing, hiking, and golfing. Dr. Maeder’s philosophy of care is to care for patients in a collaborative practice where her patients’ own research and desires are joined with her medical knowledge to achieve an outcome satisfactory to both. Dr. Maeder’s main passions in OB/GYN are family planning and birth control, basic infertility and preconception care.
Dr. Maeder will also see patients for sexual health and sexual dysfunction consultations. We do blood work and ultrasounds in office!

My previous OB/GYN (who was my favorite Dr ever!) retired and for the past couple years I've bounced from one to the next in hopes of finding an even semi-decent replacement. After several bad experiences, my search has come to an end! I felt immediately comfortable with Dr. Maeder. She took her time going over all of my previous medical history and listened carefully to all of my concerns. She was calm and focused, even though she had JUST returned to the office from delivering a baby! So happy I found her.
My wait time was actually much longer than the rating I gave, but the reason for the wait was due to the fact Dr. Maeder was in delivery. So that wouldn't be fair to rate lower bc of that, nature of the business! The receptionist was very accommodating and offered an appt with the other doctor in the office, or I could reschedule, or wait until she returned. I had already waited a month for my appointment and based on her reviews, I decided to wait, I made the right choice!

Dr. Maeder is fantastic and I always feel supported and listened too by her. Her nurse was also very sweet and helpful.
My only issue was with the staff at front desk. They did not greet me when I came in and were not very welcoming. It was 10 minutes before the front desk acknowledged that I was there by asking if my insurance was the same.

In my experience it's hard to find a gyno you really love. After moving to Denver I put off making an appointment for this reason but eventually I made one with Dr. Maeder and she's just great. These types of doctors visits are always somewhat awkward and include a degree of discomfort but Dr. Maeder has such a pleasant demeanor that it's not such a bad visit. The office staff gets you in and out quickly as well. I absolutely recommend her.
