I recommend checking with the office that your appt is confirmed because I booked through Zoc doc and they weren’t scheduling that day so my appt got cancelled.”

I took time off work & rearranged my schedule for this appointment. I left with plenty of time to be there a half hour early for my paperwork. However, with a storm coming in, traffic ended up being over an hour for a 30min drive. I called the office to let them know I would be running in right at my appointment time, & apologized for not being able to make it in early. The receptionist made a side comment about being double booked & was very rude about this situation. I walked in less than 2 minutes past my appointment time & was told it would be cancelled since my provider was booked (two minutes in to the appointment I had scheduled? Why would my provider be visiting another patient during my appointment time?). There was absolutely no consideration, empathy or politeness from the receptionist. I understand timeliness in health care (I work in it too) but we always have a 15 minute grace period for these reasons.Highly disappointed with the care, empathy& consideration of this team.
