Maria Clemente is a results-oriented and dedicated ophthalmologist located in Hazlet, NJ. She received her medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed her ophthalmology residency at Nassau University Medical Center.
Dr. Clemente provides general ophthalmology care and performs minor surgeries in-office. A few of these include cataract surgery, eyelid surgery and other facial cosmetic surgeries, cyst and sty removal, and Botox injections for cosmetic purposes and migraines. She has advanced training in medically assisted weight loss and weight management techniques. The two most common issues treated in her practice are glaucoma and allergies. Dr. Clemente uses state-of-the-art laser technologies, such as LensX to assist with cataract removals. She and her office stay connected to the community through charity events, such as sponsoring the Vision Walk with The Foundation Fighting Blindness.

Be prepared to wait! That being said I liked the doctor very much. She explains herself well and takes her time with you. I spent 3 hours in the office......hopefully my follow up will go a lot more smoothly!

Amazing! I wish all Drs and office staff were as wonderful!! One of the best Dr visits I have ever had, and lately I have had a lot. Dr Clemente and staff spent almost 2hrs with me making sure all my questions and issues were addressed, and didn't let me leave until a diagnosis was met. I felt they went above and beyond what anyone else would have done. Couldn't say enough great things.

Dr. Maria Clemete and her staff are great! She takes the time to explain to you the medical side of what's happening with your eye. I went in for severe allergies. The office is also green as it will hav you complete new patient forms via online. She is highly recommended.
