She is an assistant professor of medicine at the New York Medical College.
Dr. Paliou received her medical education from the Semmelweis University’s School of Medicine in Hungary and the University of Athens’ School of Medicine in Greece, from which she received her degree. She then completed her internal medicine internship at the Newton Wellesley Hospital with the Tufts University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Paliou also completed her internal medicine residency at these institutions. She then completed her endocrinology fellowship at the Beth Israel Medical Center at the Albert Einstein University’s School of Medicine.

I really like her. She's patient and friendly and really works with you to formulate a plan to help you succeed. In the end, successful diabetic treatment really does depend on the patient and whether or not they do their part in keeping with a diet and exercise regiment. The medication is there to help you where genetics fail you, not to allow you to eat the bad stuff. I look forward to working with her to help me get better.

Dr. Paliou and her staff were nice.
It seems to be a very unorganized office though - the insurance I'm under is stated they are in-network but they are not. I was advised 2 days prior to my consultation (over a week after the confirmation).

Caring, intelligent doctor who is able to clearly convey diagnose and options and takes the time to help make joint decisions. I felt as though Dr. Paliou advised me as though I were a member of her family. Great medical experience.
