Mariano Busso, M.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy for Mohs Surgery. He is senior attending of Dermatology at Mercy Hospital in Miami and serves as a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami. He has published dozens of book chapters, revered articles and abstracts and is involved in clinical trials for cosmetic treatments.
In 1984 Dr. Busso earned his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine in Argentina. His extensive post-graduate training included an Internal Medicine internship and Dermatology fellowship in Buenos Aires, and a General Surgery internship and Dermatology fellowship at the University of Miami, Florida.
Dr. Busso is the only physician in the US that has performed clinical trials for Radiesse and Artefill (Artecoll) and is a clinical trainer for Restylane® and BOTOX® and has participated ion the advisory board for Sculptra™. Physicians from all over the US and the world have been trained by Dr Busso in fillers and Botox techniques.

Front desk was very professional and friendly. I experienced a very short wait time. However, it appeared that based on forms I had filled out detailing my skin issues, the Doctor already had his mind made up before he saw me or listened to my concerns. When he arrived into the room, he asked 1-2 very general questions and did not even take a look at the skin problem I was describing (he stood more than arms length away from me the entire time). I was told I have 'great skin' and an already written script for a cream was handed to me. Entire appointment took maybe 5 minutes? I think he may have a specific clientele/niche he is looking to fill- he didn't appear interested in or knowledgeable about the concern I had. Unfortunate, but I can not genuinely recommend.

Dr. Busso is very friendly, funny, and super competent. His nursing staff is also nice and helpful. The visit with the doc is actually pretty brief (I've never gone past 10 min) but it's not because he's rushing you, he's just able to diagnose and prescribe really quickly and his answers to my questions are always concise and easy to understand. The only downside is the long wait time.

After arriving on time I waited in the room for the doctor for about an hour before they said it would be at least another 20 minutes. If they knew they were running so late they should have said something and given me the option to reschedule. Adding insult to injury, they were not apologetic about it and made no effort after the fact to make up for it. Unprofessional.

In my personal opinion and im not very common at "cosmetic treatments" i think Doctors in general should give more inoformation about start doing treatment that maybe you really dont need right now. Im 36 and looking fine but never did treatments before, i went because i want to know more about "lips fillers" period and then make my own decision. The doctor started to talk about "that i need more in my face than that" " because im loosing colageno and bla..bla..bla) i really dont believe i need right now and in case in the future I need it im definitely going to look for another professional. Thanks.

Well, I had filled out the on line paperwork via Zoc Doc which took me 20 minutes.I get to the office and they told me it was not there, something wrong with Zoc Doc, so I had to take another 20 minutes to complete-not good ! I then waited 1 hr 20 minutes to see Dr.Busso.I was told there was an emergency? that came into the office.When he did come in, he was very nice and accomodating.He thanked me for my patience.
The office staff was courteous and friendly.
However, I feel this is tooooo long to wait for anyone.
My time is valuable as well as anyone elses !
I think it would have been better if they could let you know ahead of time that he is running late.
