About Dr. Dan Ilkovitch

Dr. Ilkovitch has an extensive training record in both clinical medicine and research. He completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland. He then attended medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a PhD in Immunology and Microbiology with a focus on Cancer Immunology. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a rigorous residency in Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pennsylvania.
His residency training included a unique combination of experiences at UPMC hospitals and medical dermatology clinics, Hillman Cancer Center, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Veterans Affairs Hospital, and the Cosmetic Surgery & Skin Health Center. Following his training, he worked at the Cleveland Clinic providing top medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care.
Dr. Ilkovitch also serves as a Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor for the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University and is actively involved in the dermatology education of medical students and residents.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology (ABD), the only organization to certify dermatologists in the United States. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons (ASDS). Dr. Ilkovitch has received his own research funding, published widely in dermatology and immunology, lectured at national conferences, and earned numerous awards and accolades.

Looking for a new dermatologist, I had a pleasant experience with this entire staff.
Doctor's assistant helped me finish my introduction on their iPad, and the Doctor spent an adequate amount of time with me and explaining our plan for addressing my symptoms and further attention to prevent reoccurrance.
I shall return for our follow up appointment.
Covered, weather proof parking was convenient and they validate the parking.

Very impressed. My former dermatologist never told me about a patch of dry skin on my leg & Dr. I explained & treated it. He seemed thorough & commented on all the skin bumps, moles & so on & told me what they were and whether or not they are serious.
