Dr. Padro received her undergraduate degree from University of Puerto Rico and her Medical Degree from Universidad Autonoma de
Guadalajara Medical College in Guadalajara, Mexico.
She completed Psychiatry Residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she served as a Chief Resident. Currently, she is an Attending Psychiatrist with admitting privileges at Long Island College Hospital.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Padro was raised in a family of behavioral health professionals of two generations.
Proficient in Spanish , she has extensive experience in psychiatric care for patients from multicultural backgrounds and treats a wide range of psychiatric conditions in adult population. She believes that every patient is different and needs individually designed care. She aims to provide such highest level of evidence based treatment while helping patients identify and achieve higher life satisfaction.

Dr. Padro made me feel very comfortable during my first session with her. She was very thorough and did not make me feel rushed. The Dr answered all questions pertaining to medication side-affects.
