Dr. Israel is a licensed optometrist providing comprehensive eye care including general eye examinations, contact lens fittings, treatment of ocular diseases and emergent eye care. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with Bachelors of Science specializing in Nutritional Sciences. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry as a member and officer of Beta Kappa Sigma Honor Society. While at SUNY, she worked as an intern at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in St. Albans where she worked extensively treating and managing Glaucoma. She has been working with Dr. Nachum since 2006. She is currently licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Dr. Israel resides in Manhattan and enjoys everything the city and it’s boroughs have to offer.
