marjorie is an extremely knowledgeable and supportive nutritionist. she is the best medical professional i have worked with. she has proven methods to help and support you while creating a individualized treatment plan. i could not recommend marjorie and her team enough.

Marjorie Nolan Cohn is the clinical director at Berry Street. A passionate leader in eating disorders nutrition, Marjorie spent eight years working in higher levels of care at both The Renfrew Center and Monte Nido and was on the team of providers who helped build and create programming for The Renfrew Center's first Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in 2005. After years of work in the eating disorders field, Marjorie began a media-focused career in New York City. As a spokesperson for The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Marjorie appeared on most major TV networks and has written for or been quoted in publications and websites such as Glamour, The New York Times, and US News & World Report.
Marjorie established Berry Street on the foundation that we don't just hand out meal plans-we want to know who you are and what your day is like. She believes that �our work together is only going to work for you if it works with you.� With advanced certifications in Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy, Marjorie enjoys working with clients who have complex diagnoses impacting their nutrition, such as gut health concerns like Crohn's Disease or Irritable Bowel Syndrome in addition to disordered eating. A self-described straight shooter, yet kind in her approach, clients benefit from her direct communication style. She strives to meet clients where they're at so she can support and provide realistic recommendations always focusing toward recovery.
Marjorie holds a Master's Degree in Food and Nutrition Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was recognized with an award for being an outstanding alumna. She has held advanced certifications in Sports Nutrition and currently in Eating Disorders and Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy.

I’ve been working with Marjorie for about 8 yrs guiding me through the worst of my ibs/lactose intolerance symptoms, getting me on a specific diet to get my body back on track, eating the healthy foods my body can digest properly and be about 95% symptom free now, which before I met her I would’ve thought impossible. I was at my rock bottom, eating healthy, but just not understanding how those foods broke down and effected me. It took a full yr to get used to being pain/symptom free because the problems had persisted the 25 yrs previous. I’ve never had to take a medication as a result. All my relief came through diet and exercise, (which I had been doing already when I met with her) I just didn’t understand what my body needed in terms of food to feel my best.
