Mark L. Hedlund, M.D. is a board certified family physician who graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1980. He did his undergraduate work at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and graduated in 1976 Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa majoring in chemistry and psychology. After medical school, he completed a 3-year residency in Family Practice at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Hedlund joined Family Medicine Associates of Texas in January, 1998. Prior to this, he was a partner in a private multispecialty group of 68 physicians in Minneapolis where he served twelve years as Medical Director of that practice.
