I saw Dr. Cárcamo and I was very happy with him. He's a great communicator and clinician. I would recommend Dr. Cárcamo to anyone who needs a good optician. The front office staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

Dr. Martha Klufas, an optometry graduate from the University of California Berkeley, has been a practicing optometrist in the Bay Area for over 12 years. She specializes in contact lenses, dry eyes, and treats glaucoma. She has developed a keen eye for diagnosing eye problems and fixing them. From an early age, Dr. Klufas helped in her mother's eyeglass store in New Jersey. She tinted eyeglass lenses, as was popular in the 80s, and helped people select frames. Now years later as an optometrist Dr. Klufas has gathered a lifetime of experience to offer you & your eyes.
Prior to setting her sights on becoming an optometrist, Dr. Klufas performed clinical trials in the pursuit of curing glaucoma that even brought her to a mission in Guatemala. She truly enjoys working with all people, improving and preserving their gift of sight.
Dr. Klufas has spent many years studying and treating eyes. She examined eyes at the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco for over ten years.

Staff was too salesy and we were not informed about the extra copy for the extra check ups we got.

I filled out the forms to see this provider online through zoc doc prior to my appointment. When I arrived, the man at the front desk gave me forms again. One of them was new so I filled it out, but the rest I had already completed oniline. When I explained this to the receptionist, he said, "Well that would be strange considering we don't HAVE these forms on Zoc Doc." The conversation devolved into him gaslighting me and "man-splaining" that it was impossible that I had actually filled anything out. I can't help but think that if I was a man, he might have actually listened to me and at least checked on the status of my forms with his coworkers before implying that I was lying or stupid...I sat down and waited until his coworker was available. I then explained the situation to the coworker, who affirmed that I had completed the forms and that I was ready to be seen. The rest of the visit was fine, but this receptionist was very disrespectful and rude.

I saw Dr. Cárcamo and I was very happy with him. He's a great communicator and clinician. I would recommend Dr. Cárcamo to anyone who needs a good optician. The front office staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.
