Dr. Jennifer Yang is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with a specialty in Cornea and Anterior Segment Diseases. She is a Cum Laude graduate of Wellesley College, and she received her Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After a medical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, she completed her ophthalmology residency training at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Infirmary and New York University. Dr. Yang then pursued a Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Dr Yang's office is in the heart of Chinatown, which means everyone around you (patients, staff) speaks Cantonese (with occasional Mandarin). If you are not a native Chinese speaker, you might think you're going to have a challenge communicating. But the experience was great, and Dr Yang is a first-language English speaker (who jokes about her modest Chinese language skills). Very friendly, patient and thorough. Very positive experience, especially if you want to feel like you've temporarily been transported to Hong Kong while getting your eyes did.

Dr. Yang’s staff was fast and efficient. It was a routine eye exam but with all the tests and the consultation, I was in and out in an hour. I had some health concerns, but everyone was very supportive and kind.
Dr. Yang listened to my concerns and she was very empathetic and although the office visit was fast, she didn’t rush me. She also gave clear and logical explanations for her suggested treatment plans and executed prescriptions and follow ups right away.

Waiting time was not much. I was seen at my appointment time by doctor's assistant. But for the doctor i had to wait a little.

Dr. Jennifer Yang was excellent, and her staff was very professional. The office space itself wasn't the best - very old space and equipment. Slightly confusing process for the whole appointment; a technician took me in and out of the waiting room into 2 different exam rooms, then the third time I was called I actually saw Dr. Yang in an entirely different room.

Although the office isn't in the most modern location, the staff and Dr. Yang were all very friendly and thorough. The office is closed for one hour for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30, so I had to wait outside for a few minutes before being let in. All in all a good experience.

I have intention of visiting this office again, waited in the wait room for 45 min before I saw anyone. On top of that, had to ask for my results, they weren't given to me..

Dr. Yang was great. She was professional in her exam and gave me prescriptions that I needed. The only issue is the office. I booked am appointment via ZocDoc and they called me the next day to move my appointment because they were not seeing patients that day. After leaving me a voicemail they then called my emergency contact about rescheduling my appointment. Last time I checked rescheduling am appointment is not an emergency. When I arrived at the office there were lots of people waiting. Even though I already submitted paperwork online, I was asked to fill out the same information again in person. In addition they only accept CASH. This was not clear ZocDoc not did they tell me before my appointment.
In summary, while Dr. Yang is great, her office is not. I do not recommend going to this office.
