The Dr was great, I highly recommend ! Very straightforward and really took his time to explain everything.The staff was also very friendly. However, when I called to confirm my zocdoc scheduled appointment I was informed that I did not have an appointment and that I had to complete all of the patient forms again.

Marvin A. Lipsky, M.D., F.A.C.G., did his internship and residency at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City after completing medical school at New York University. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Harvard University — Brigham Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Lipsky is presently on the attending staff of Overlook Hospital and former Chief of Gastroenterology at Overlook Hospital. He has been the Medical Director of the Gastro-Surgical Center since its opening in 1998.
Dr. Lipsky holds a faculty position of Clinical Assistant Professor with Mt. Sinai Medical Center and is actively involved in teaching community members and medical residents. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Medical Association, the American Gastroenterological Association, the National Foundation of Ileitis and Colitis. He holds licenses to practice medicine in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. He has been in practice in Springfield, New Jersey since 1987.
Dr. Lipsky has special interests in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s Disease, Colitis) and liver diseases.

None of the files nor the appointment time which I set up on Zocdoc went into their system. If a practice is going to make $ from Zocdoc, they must allow it to update their calendar or at least check it.
Tests were not updated, doctor sent me for a test from skewed results, I spent thousands of dollars on care with answers, and I received no follow up with next steps. Not that I would continue with them anyway at this point, but they should have suggested a dietitian or nutritionist as no tests proved helpful. Ultimately received no help on my condition. If you care about patients and are not just capitalists, you follow up after someone trusts you with their time and money.

I enjoyed the visit and found it extremely helpful. The only downside was the very long wait. I was seen about an hour after my appointment was scheduled for, which was fine that day, but other days this could really affect my schedule.
