“Mary Beck is without a doubt the best provider I have ever had. I have been through a lot in my life and Mary has always made every possible effort to make sure I always felt heard and that I knew my feelings mattered. She has never once made me feel judged! She is such a great listener and pays such close attention to detail when you’re talking with her. She remembers things about your life, it really makes you feel like you’re more than just a number unlike a lot of healthcare providers these days. Mary has a heart of gold and is so compassionate, but she is also one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever met! Because of her, my mental health is in such a good place and for the first time in a very long time I feel very balanced, happy, and encouraged for my future. If you are someone struggling with your mental health in any way, I cannot recommend Mary Beck, NP enough! ”

Getting to know Mary Beck

I am an open-minded, dedicated, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with expanded education and experience in family medicine. As a dual-certified nurse practitioner, I understand that physical health cannot easily exist without mental well-being. With a keen sense of the interconnections of body, mind, and soul. I desire to provide skilled, compassionate psychiatric care and medication management, in building trusting, therapeutic relationships with each client, on their journey to mental wellness and/or sobriety.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to my practice is both traditional and integrative medicine. I believe holistic care (lifestyle modification, stress management, exercise, meditation and grounding techniques) has its place right alongside traditional medication management. I possess strong clinical skills enhanced by my natural ability to build a rapport with patients. I follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I provide psychiatric evaluation and diagnostic services as well as medication management for clients. Our first meeting will include an initial psychiatric assessment which will lead me to a working diagnosis. I will then, if needed, prescribe the appropriate medication. We can continue to meet for follow-ups and check-ins. Mental health is a dynamic process and a working diagnosis may change and evolve over time. I like to stay close after I prescribe a new medication to make sure it is the right fit and to assess for possible side effects. Whether we're working through challenges, exploring new possibilities, or developing strategies for growth, my aim is to create a supportive and collaborative space where real progress can happen. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs, so clients often walk away feeling more empowered, focused, and equipped with practical tools they can apply in their daily lives. Ultimately, the work we do together is designed to foster meaningful change and lasting results.
