Dr. Matt helped me get a stable prescription after years of not wearing glasses. He was very thorough during the exam. He explained that I had a high astigmatism. It is a great doctor, very attentive, highly recommend him for anyone looking for someone who is professional, friendly, and makes the whole process easy to understand.

Dr. Matthew Thornton is a therapeutic optometrist with glaucoma certification and is trained to treat and manage a multitude of eye diseases. Dr. Thornton was born and raised in South Florida and received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. He then continued his education at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, graduating with honors. He completed rotations in pediatrics, specialty contact lens fitting, low vision, and ocular disease. His hobbies include weight lifting, keeping freshwater fish, a little gaming, hiking in the California hills, and rock climbing. Dr. Thornton is pleased to now be in California and looks forward to serving the patients in Southern California.

My appointment with Dr. Thornton was great! He was very thorough and answered all my questions. I had trouble seeing while driving at night and he was able to determine a prescription and recommend glasses that will help.
