About Dr. Aida Amin

Dr. Aida Amin is a licensed optometrist at Laser Eye Center, certified to treat and manage ocular conditions with therapeutic pharmaceutical agents. Serving the community since 2019, she provides the full range of optometric care — with specialty expertise in dry eye, refractive (LASIK & PRK), EVO ICL, cataract, pterygium (carnosidad), keratoconus, co-management contact-lens fitting, as well as cosmetic procedures. Dr. Amin earned her bachelor's in psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Doctor of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences. She completed advanced clinical training at Orange County Retina Medical Group — in retinal and vitreous disease, keratoconus management, specialty contact lenses, and glaucoma — and conducted neuroscience research at the Silva Laboratory at UCLA. She is a member of the American Optometric Association. Patients describe Dr. Amin's energy and passion as genuinely uplifting. Fluent in Farsi, and supported by Laser Eye Center's bilingual team (hablamos español), she welcomes new patients across our Los Angeles–area locations.

I was recommended my friend who was happy with his outcome, unfortunately I am not a candidate for normal surgery due to trauma I've had to one of my eyes in the past but I really appreciate Aida's straightforwardness and honesty advising against getting lasik at this time. Still hope with a different type of surgery but she doesn't recommend until I'm 50. Wiill be back in 5 years to look into that.
