About Dr. Theresa Tran
Dr. Theresa Tran is a glaucoma-certified therapeutic optometrist who was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She attended The University of Kansas for her undergraduate degree with a major in Biochemistry. Subsequently, she advanced her studies at the Illinois College of Optometry where she earned her Doctorate in Optometry.
Dr. Tran decided to expand her optometric career and moved to California in 2018 after completing her clinical rotations specializing in advanced care in ocular disease, pediatrics and contact lens. She then served in a renowned ophthalmology practice and also participated in a non-profit organization giving comprehensive eye exams to low income school districts around Los Angeles.
Dr. Tran currently provides full scope optometry with extensive experience in ocular diseases including dry eyes, keratoconus, cataracts, retinal diseases and corneal and refractive related surgeries.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Tran is very active in health and wellness including pilates or yoga, enjoys live music, traveling and tasting new restaurants.

This was the most thorough eye exam I ever had. Felt very confident about my eye health. Doctor was very friendly, great beside manner, explained everything she was doing. Same with the front office staff. When I was choosing glasses the woman I was working with took the time to review my insurance benefits and help me find the most cost effective option to get new glasses. Really really helpful. Loved this place.

If you’re looking for an eye doctor who is not only insanely knowledgeable but also makes you feel like an actual VIP, Dr. Tran is IT.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. She took the time to explain everything in a way that actually made sense.
The eye exam itself? PERFECTION. She’s meticulous, thorough, and truly passionate about making sure your eyes are in the best shape possible. Plus, she has the best energy! 10/10!

Only down side is luck on finding parking. If you do come in, definitely during the week or early in the AM.
