About Dr. Mehul Patel

After graduating with his bachelor's degree from the University of Houston, Mehul Patel, MD, went on to complete his medical degree at UTMB School of Medicine in Galveston and residency in pediatrics at the McGovern Medical School at UT Health in Houston. As a pediatrician, he treats patients aged newborns to 21 for sick visits as well as preventive medicine, such as immunizations and wellness checkups. His special interests include preventative medicine, stress management, healthy eating, and exercising. Patients at West University and the Texas Medical Center will find that Dr. Patel is an attentive pediatrician with a keen insight into providing personalized care.
