What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
It is my passion to provide patients with compassionate, competent, holistic care. I enjoy educating patients on integrative medicine and the importance of lifestyle modifications. I am happiest when I get to help patients make positive changes in their lives.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
I feel that an effective primary care provider considers a patient's overall well-being - the mind, body, and spirit. It is our duty as primary care providers to treat the whole person, not just the disease. Therefore, we should support both the physical and behavioral health of a patient since they go hand in hand.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to practice yoga, enjoy the sounds of nature (in the forest and at the ocean), figure skate, travel, and spend quality time with my husband and 3 kids.
