About Melissa Richart
Melissa is a board-certified physician assistant licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and worked in the pharmaceutical industry before pursuing her career as a physician assistant. Continuing her education at Drexel University, she received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Melissa worked in emergency medicine for six years, gaining experience treating a diverse population with multiple conditions. She performs comprehensive skin exams, treats acute and chronic skin conditions, and educates patients on preventative skin care and anti-aging treatments. An SDPA diplomate fellow, Melissa is also an avid Penn State fan and lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, three boys, and their rescue retriever.

The office is really clean and quiet, the staff was really friendly, and we were seen at our exact appointment time. Once we were in the actual room the doctor came in within 5 minutes (I have NEVER been seen by a doctor that quickly). She thoughtfully listened and heard all of our concerns and even gave us comfort and validation which is rare. She even took the time to go over my daughters morning routine to make sure she was using appropriate products and gave samples tailored to our concerns. The entire appointment was great and I have already recommended her to two people.

Our appointment was seamless from beginning to end. To the woman at the front desk checking us in, to the triage woman who showed us to our room and asked some question, to the provider who was incredibly friendly, listened to every concern, and spoke not only to me, but to my 12 year old daughter who was the patient. We checked in 15 minutes early and were taken back to our room in 5 minutes. We felt comfortable the entire time and are so happy with our choice to come to this office!
